Embedding & Visibility

Every widget has a visibility setting that controls who can see it.

The three levels

• Private — only you.
• Account — anyone in your account.
• Public — anyone with the link, no sign-in required.

Embedding a public widget

Set a widget to public and it's reachable at its public link (/w/<slug>). Drop that link into a page or another app to embed the widget live — see Viewing without an account.

A nesting rule to know

Visibility respects containers: a leaf widget can't be made private while a public container still includes it — otherwise the public dashboard would have a hole. Adjust or remove it from the container first.
